    As many people know Microsoft has essentially broken Xbox One X download capabilites with one of its updates. Many threads are discussing how people are unable to get over 25% of their actual bandwith capablilties. MS has been trying to gaslight these customers making them believe something is wrong with their ISP or network or whatever. this is all utter nonesense, it is very clearly a bug on Microsofts end they wont admit that though because why would they care. I am considering suing MS for a replacement or fix as this is unacceptable. The company broke the product I have sitting at home through one of their updates and now they wont take responsibility for it. Will never purchase another Xbox product again that is for sure.

    Just wanted to let everyone know that you are not at fault and dont let MS make you think that you are. There have been many discussions on there and no solution, MS is actively shutting down the discussions on this as far as I have seen. Hence I am reaching out to Microsoft via this thread and am looking forward to your proposal

    Slow Download Speed on Xbox One X

    Could it be an issue on my internet provider's end specifically affecting my Xbox One X? As I have my classic Xbox One plugged in along side my Xbox One X and can see it still performing downloads at a significantly faster speed then my Xbox One X.

    Your download speeds are dictated by the speeds of the servers you are downloading from not by the theoretical maximum your line can support. If that was the maximum you managed with the One, then buying a Series X wouldn't automatically boost speeds.

    Download speed is very low

    It has to be the servers, had isp come check out speeds. Over 300mbs download, 30 upload. Xbox one s is barely getting 30 download, 30 upload hardwired.

    I thought it was the Xbox itself, so I got a one X and speed is still low. So got a powerful console I can't use because download speeds are so low I usually lag out of games

    Download time depends on your internet connection speed.

    The lower your speed the longer it takes.

    I have a 120 Mbps download speed, but this can vary depending on the time of day.

    Halo 5 on the One X was a massive 107GB and took me about 90 minutes to download and install.
