XBOX One X disconnects from Wifi intermittently

I recently purchased a Xbox One X after playing for while on my roommate's Xbox one S. we share the same wifi router and I played games like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands both on One S and One X. I never had network connectivity issues when playing
on One S. But the very first time I played on my One X, after 30 - 45 mins of playing, party chat got disconnected and I got kicked out of the game. Quick fix was to go offline and go online through network settings which i believe forces disconnects and then
re connects to the router. But within 2-4 hrs of gaming, I get disconnected at-least 2 - 3 times in that period. Any solutions?

I have this same issue and its been plauging me since the X launch in 2017. My one S NEVER did it. My friends og xbox one DOESNT do it. From the first 30 minutes on my X in 2017 when i got it is when it started happening to me and we are now in June of
2019 and its still happening. Ive even returned my scorpio edition for a new X in hopes it would stop and it still didnt. Please just acknowledge there is an issue and that you guys are working on it. Idk what to do. Ive tried everything. Im so sick of the
basic troubleshooting steps. I love Xbox but i am so disappointed in this issue and microsofts failure to acknowledge the issue. I have port forwarded. Tried 2.4 ghtz, 5 ghtz and a hardwire. Ive tried clearing the mac address. System restores. Profile clears
and redownloads. Firmware on my router. .. please make my day abd respond. Thanks

Try this troubleshooting article: nat error solution

Here are a few steps within the guide to point you in the right direction.

Open the guide by pressing the Xbox button
in the center of your controller.
Scroll right in the guide to the System area
Select Settings.
Select Network.
Select Network Settings.
Select Test NAT Type

I've been having intermittent controller disconnects. Tends to put my character into a spin to the right when playing BF4 it seems.

I'm wondering if it's not so much a problem with the console as a problem with a lot of local WIFI signals. My router is next to the Xbox so I am wondering if the WIFI signals from it are confusing the Xbox One.... I never thought of it until just. Will
try that later on.

I have this same problem, only the controllers disconnect intermittently no matter what I'm doing. Both controllers do this. My internet research pointed to a failing wifi card inside the xbox one itself. Or, interference. I'll be turning off all WIFI networks
this evening to see if the problem persists. If it does I think I'm going to DIY a wifi card since warranty ended on my box in October 2016.
