Xbox One X disconnects from internet every 15-30 minutes

Have you tried connecting the console to a different frequency or changing the wireless channel?

Try changing the frequency from the 2.4GHz to the 5GHz and vice versa.

I have watched many YouTube videos and read on many forums and support pages that it might be caused by interference. With so many wirless devices around us, this can become a problem.

I've also solved this on a friends console by changing the wireless channel on the router. If you know how to do this, give it a go and consult your router manual. If you don't know how to do it, consult an IT specialist.

So yeah, give it a try (If you have a dual band router - 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)

It could potentially be a drop in the wireless network thats causing the issue or connectivity issues, if there are electronics/appliances or many walls between the router and xbox, this can cause packet loss or drops between the devices.

Have you attempted running the console on a wired connection for more stability?

Can you try connecting the console with an ethernet cord just for testing purposes? If the console keeps a connection with the ethernet cable, we can concentrate on troubleshooting your WiFi network, and if the console disconnects with an Ethernet cord,
we can skip WiFi troubleshooting and check if your ISP or router configuration is at fault.

Also, when you play on your console, have your PC/Laptop running and have a command prompt open.

On Windows open a command prompt by pressing "Windowskey + R" and typing "cmd", then press "OK". On Linux or MacOS simply open a Terminal.

In that window you type:

PING 1.1.1.1 -t

(when using Linux or MacOS, omit the "-t" option).

When getting kicked from Xbox Live, check the output from the Ping command. Do the numbers significantly change or do you get error messages?

I would hard wire it with Ethernet cable and see if problem continues... If it doesnt you know you have connection issues with Wi-Fi.... I had to upgrade my Wi-Fi to make it faster to stop this problem....

WiFi can be disrupted by many things as well. if you have any electrical appliances between the router and your Xbox, they could cause enough interference to disconnect you.

is it possible to use an ethernet cable to connect to your router?
