    Hi,

    I tried to install a brand new Forza Horizon 5 from psychical disk. It show me more than 3 hours long! Something wrong with my xbx or something else is a problem? This is my first disc that I bought.

    Hi,

    As I can see from the screenshot, the game has only installed 9.96GB from the actual disc, the rest of the game (approximately 107GB) is required to be downloaded from Xbox Live. The time it takes to download this rather large game is almost completely dependant on the speed you get from your Internet Service Provider.

    Unfortunately this is the way these games are distributed now. The discs do not contain the full game.

    Frank, even if the installation starts from a disc, it will still use your network to download the rest of the game.

    So depending on your connection speed, it really can take 3 hours for the game to install.

    Try installing the games to improve the speed. Highlight the game in either my games or the disc drive icon, press x, click install.

    Speed times maybe the same, but if you have an external ssd connected to the xbox one x with the games installed on it, then speed times might be quicker.
