Xbox One X Crashing

Hey everyone,

I bought a refurbsihed Xbox One X a few weeks ago from Gamestop (online). Ever since I got it, it keeps crashing and saying its because its overheating and to try all the different steps about not blocking the vent, puttung it on a hard service, etc. No
matter what I try, it still seems to crash. The only game I play is Fortnite and it will make it until i get to the lobby/homescreen then it will crash. It has taken me over 2 hours before of just trying to start, restart, etc in order for it to make it there.
However, if it doesnt crash within the first few seconds, it has never crashed in the middle of the game due to overheating or the other things it said is possible. Also, sometime I can log right in and theres no problems, other times it takes me so long to
even get the console to stay on once I start Fortnite. Is there a solution? Is it related to the game itself because its only getting the game open where I have the problem? Anything helps so I dont have to keep wasting hours trying to simply get in game.
I’ve tried other things listed online and within these forums so I figured I would ask the question again as a last resort.
