Xbox One X crashing during games

Gaming has gotten a lot more difficult lately. My Xbox has been crashing during some games but not during others. So far, it has happened on: Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, The Division 2, Forza Horizon 4

Nothing triggers the crash, each of them are random. The screen freezes up, then after about 10 seconds the game force closes and immediately after the xbox turns off. I am able to talk in the party for a few seconds after the screen freezes.

Can anyone help me with this? Factory Reset (both ones) don’t work and neither did uninstalling/reinstalling the game

I'm sorry to hear that. My One X crashes sometimes too and closes the game out and puts me back on the dashboard but it only seems to happen during certain games. How many different games have you tried this with, that makes it crash?

ventilation was the reason i experienced this issue

The only disc game I own is Black Ops 4. I’ll test that out tonight to see if it crashes during that.

I blew out the power supply box when I blew out the vents on the xbox but it doesn’t help to try again.

It’s just so frustrating
