Xbox One X Crash running No man's sky

plz help

i did uninstal/reinstal, didnt work

i reinitialised my xbox, did nothing

i erased the reserved memory space of the game and it still gets on crashing.

i'm really dispointed having paid my xbox 700$....

I've had to stop playing, despite trying all the recommended Xbox actions. It's definitely the game, and Hello Games are notoriously bad at fixing problems, despite being really good at introducing them with every patch (the latest Next patch is the 13th
and is still mostly made up of them trying to fix newly-introduced bugs, rather than the trivial content updates they make a song and dance about).

You can report the problem here: Submit a request – Hello Games - just don't expect a response from them. Despite making over $24m from new purchases when the Xbox version was released, they haven't employed any new staff to provide
an acceptable level of customer support.

I think only reporting the problem in numbers will get them to do anything about it, or even acknowledge it. As their history shows, they rely on people buying the game and not playing it. If you don't report the problem, they'll be quite happy with that.

 

Is it only happening with just that game? Have you tried re-installing the game or factory reset from the settings? Those might correct it.

the same thing happened with my One running Fallout 4, it has started crashing like that one day on constantly, like maximum 2h of playing

 

Hey BusiBoy,

If multiple games are crashing, we suggest you try a
Factory Reset by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.

Make sure you know your email and password before attempting this, as it will have you sign back in afterwards. Let us know how it goes!

 

I've experienced the exact same issue to no avail- only on NMS and without warning but the console hard crashes and only allows it to turn back on with actual power button.

I considered it could be a network issue and tried resetting my alternate mac address in the network settings and it hasn't happened since (a few hours of gaming). So maybe a step to try- I'm also in Alpha Preview Skip Ahead so if you are too it may be related
to an update but I've submitted it there as well.

 

I have the same problem, and only on NMS (I'm on version 1.6.3).

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the game on my external drive, deleting it and installing it on my internal drive, starting a new game in different game modes (Normal, Survival and Permadeath), reset Alt MAC address (and the BD persistent storage)
and, in every case, it crashes after three to thirty minutes of gameplay. I'm not in APSA. I’ve contacted Hello Games multiple times and have been completely ignored.

I don’t know what happens when a game crashes on the Xbox (on the PS4 I get a form to fill in and submit, for whatever that's worth) but this game takes the whole Xbox down with it so it’s not just a localised reserved area of protected memory. Is there
any way to get a crash dump to send to Hello Games, as you can on PC?
