    My xbox one x will not sync to any controller now. When you push the sync button on the xbox nothing happens. No flashing lights, nothing. I've held the power button for 10 seconds to "reset" it. I've completely powered it down (unplugged everything from
    the back for 10 mins). Changed controller batteries. I have done all these things because its all I could find online pertaining to this issue. No updates or anything as of recent, was just watching hulu and it happened. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Xbox One X wont sync to controller since new update

    This does not work as in order to update the controller it need to be connected to the xbox. I thought it was my controller and i got a whole new one to experience the same issue..Even when i have it plugged in it is still not syncing and the sync button
    on my xbox one x is not working at all.

    Hi Javier, I walked through this but this doesnt help. Pressing the sync button on the xbox one x is not doing anything. Its a console issue not a controller issue.

    Sync the Controller:
    To sync a wireless controller with your Xbox, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
    Press and hold the small sync button on the front of the Xbox Series X console (located near the USB port).
    While holding the sync button on the console, press and hold the sync button on the controller (located on the top near the Xbox button).
    Release both sync buttons when the controller's Xbox button starts flashing. The controller should now be synced with the console.

    The sync button on my xbox one x will not work ive tried it all from powering down to the hard reset. Any ideas???

    I'm sorry to hear that there's issues with the sync button.

    I do know that there's an alternative way to sync your controller to the Xbox One.

    You can sync your controller by connecting it via USB cable to the Xbox, once plugged in do the hard reset to your console.

    Once it's back up try to see if you're able to use your controller wireless, or you can keep it wired.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your controller is turning off after press the sync button to sync it to your iPad. Does this issue occur with any other Bluetooth devices? Are you using an Xbox One S or Xbox One X controller?
    We suggest making sure your iPad is up to date. Also, we recommend to
    update the controller    . Be sure to let us know the results David!
