Xbox One X controller drifts right

Couple months ago, I noticed that controller started to right. Not immediately, but after touched up. I did research and found out, that calibration might be required. Tried to calibrate. There is no such option, even it was mentioned Windows 10 supports,
but there is no option to calibrate.

Wanted to disassemble and clean, but special screwdrivers are required. Whatever, I took another controller and I've got the same drift.

Today, I took the first controller and connected by wire to Xbox One S. No problem, everything works fine. I removed the cable - same correct behavior.

Same controller with same conditions on Xbox One X produces drift - left stick to right after 20-50% forward.

Obviously it is a software problem, which should be solved.

Xbox has the latest updated 2019-12-10

Right, I did power cycle yesterday, after started to suspect as software problem.

I forgot to mention, that issue is reproducible with two controllers on that Xbox One X.

If there is a problem with radio part, then I think I need to open request to have it replaced.

You could take a cotton swab and put rubbing alcohol in the sticks, thats what I do with mine it still ends up drifting eventually but keep doing it and it will happen less often.

I have heard of issues like that before but sometimes there has been problems like that from it could be a few things one being os signal sends out the receiving/sending controller. I have to ask to ask if you are in the insider program at all or not.

Matt, it is software problem. Even cotton swab is soft and rubbing alcohol evaporates it cannot help.
