Xbox One X controller disconnection problems concerning the internet and profile assignment

List of things in how they happen:

Internet goes down for a moment maybe 5 - 10 minutes or so during the day sometimes.

When the internet goes out the console struggles and chugs from what I can only assume is the background processes trying to find a internet connection.

Annoying enough as that is it then decides to re log me back into my profile which for some ungodly reason disconnects my controller because someone thought it was needed that my controller be assigned to my profile.

So every time the internet goes out it chugs and stalls > trys to find connection > thinks it has a connection > re logs profile > disconnects and reconnects the controller.

I need to know how to un assign a controller from a profile. I'm currently playing monster hunter so its not like the game stops even though you get disconnected you just go into offline mode which is fine. What isn't fine is getting pelted by a monster
because my controllers tied to a profile which is in the background trying to find a connection. I don't need it to interrupt me when it finally finds it.

I highly doubt ill find any help since this issues seems to just be a fault in the assignment of controllers to profiles. Internet goes out, profile signed out and back in, so follow the controller.

And if you can't un assign them then as a suggestion, they should really remove the profile attachment to controllers since i'm pretty sure that's whats causing my problem.

I'm sorry to hear about the laundry list of issues that you've been experiencing with your internet, console and controller connection.

(quick question) What is causing you to lose internet everyday?

If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console. [Keep my Games and Apps]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter. This will
reset the Operating system [OS] of the console and allow you a fresh start-up.

The internet dropping is a unknown factor thanks to the dog pile that is Comcast.

Pretty randomly around 10-11 am it will just happen some days and then you wait it out or hop on a phone and tell them for the umpteenth time that its happened.

Yelling isn't my thing and talking to a drone of a employee that doesn't want to be there and has no real way of fixing the problem is just a waste of both peoples time now a days.

All of the google search responses for controller connection issues all end in someone saying to do a factory reset.

Ill do it if it gets worse but I still stand by the issue being tied to the way the Xbox assigns controllers to profiles.

This is reminding me of my calls to Comcast.

They really need to remove that dumb profile assignment.

And if someone finds this on a google search its probably the profiles.

Ill get back to this when i get a weekend to do a factory reset, i'm doubtful but heres hoping .

A Soft factory / or a Full factory reset is usually the fix-all for most fixable console issues like the one you're describing before needing a repair / exchange.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
