    Hello fellow gamers.

    i hooked up an 1st gen xbox one controller and it woeks fine with NBA2K21. I then purchased another xbox one controller but i guess this one is a xbox one x controller, its flat and smooth on the top of controller and has no notch like the 1st gen controller.
    When i went to play NBA2K21 i tries to hook up controller and buttons appear number and not letters. It said 2 select, instead of player to and the buttons layout was incorrect foe the game. I played cyberpunk and the buttons work fine on that game. Please
    help what am i doing wrong?

    Manette Xbox Adaptive

    The Xbox Adaptive controller will only press the letters 'A', 'B', 'X' and 'Y' as they are the Xbox controller letters.

    I am not aware of any way to remap the letters so that they are 'S', 'Z', 'D' and 'Q'. Keeping in mind that they are the Nintendo Switch buttons.

    I will try to do my best to explain the lettered buttons.

    They are not like the letters on the keyboard, they are just labelled with those letters as way of us humans easily understanding which button relates to which in game action. they are simply a form of input for the game console.

    Also in all the pictures I have looked at of the Switch it shows that the lettered buttons are A, B, X and Y the same as the Xbox controller.

    Hi, i believe you want to play using a pc right? If the answer is yes, then you can change in the games options the letters assinged to the controller.

    In general A B X Y are the standard xbox’s buttons, if it was a keyboard, they would be R F C Q i believe.

    If by changing the layout you mean changing the language of the keyboard, i did but now the numbers are shown but the letters are not the same as my keyboard, "a" is now "q".

    Why are they punishing people for the Clan Tag buttons?

    I understand, but letters and numbers are not obstructing the screen and are not a distraction; colored controller buttons are, and anybody using the colored buttons should be banned and shot, or shot and banned.
