Xbox One X Connection Issue

I have the same ISP since 5 years and same router. And the problem is the same with wifi.

 

You will have the problem with both WiFi and ethernet cable. Some routers do not communicate correctly with the new console. The fat xbox works correctly, but X1S and X1X have problems with certain routers. You can also connect an ethernet switch with
WiFi to the router (as a repeater) and use that signal (or change router), you will see that it resolves.

 

How many time we will have to say "This also happen on Fat Xbox One" You want to know how I know that? because I have a fat Xbox One, we have more than 50 pages on a French forum talking about this issue.

All with: different ISP

I read through that entire disconnect article and that article is absolutely ridiculous to expect an xbox live user to do. I understand all the options there as well. Im very tech savy and this isnt fair to the ones who arent. I also am positive none
of those will fix the issues ive had and still have from time to time. I bought a brand new ethernet cable Cat 6e very great reviews. Tried both Wi-Fi and Ethernet and still happens from time to time. I have an open NAT Type which is annoying to accomplish
in itself let alone someone who isnt tech savy. I had to set up a buddies router a year ago. What i do not understand is Microsoft/Xbox has made it extremely clear that they arent looking at their own software which is the biggesr problem for sure and working
on a software update to fix it. Mine does it a few times weekly. Usually when turning it on from sleep mode but ive also been kicked from games many times to find out im not connected to xbox live anymore and thats why i was kicked. Have to do the super mong
xbox restart to get it to connect again. This is a very wide issue clearly and doesnt matter what country what isp what router settings what NAT Type. Its a software issue that Xbox/Microsoft is refusing to fix because it happens off and on. Sony would have
fixed it. Why im starting to want to move away from microsoft and xbox. Its so darn known that microsoft moves on to new software without fixing the annoying bugs from th old software or even the new software. Ive had lots and lots of issues with every piece
of microsoft software/hardware ive owned. This is 100% on microsofts end and microsoft refusing to accept it is ridiculous

I do want to thank you for all your patience. As, well as I highly understand the frustration with all of this. I do understand where you guys are coming from in regards to this.
First of all I do want to apologize that this has been such a hassle.

I have a good idea of all the process you guys have done so far in regards to this issue. I do want to clarify that there are a few things that help better the connection.
I've personally have experienced this issue myself. I had found a little 'loophole' by adding my phone's Wi-fi address as my console's MAC address. This was just a temporary fix. Afterwards, the best route to take is add the console's
MAC address to the router's settings. I would recommend to take a lot at the option of adding the console's MAC address to your networking device.

Let us know if this helps guys, we want to resolve this as much as you guys do.

Did you tried deleting the alternate mac address??

 

Here is the issue once again! Microsoft should not expect any user to have to go through this hassle for something like this. Again its not just a few xbox live customers. Seems to be everyone and most dont even bring it up and just restart everything
and usually works just fine for awhile and then happens again. Its not a specific modem or a specific router or NAT type as open moderate or strict or ethernet versus Wi-Fi connection, its not a setting in the router or modem or xbox network setting. There
is no explanation for it but xbox does get the data from the consoles that allow the data to be sent to microsoft and they could fix the issue on their end yet they dont and also wont admit it is an issue on their end. I had a PS3 with no connection issues
and ive heard the PS4 is very similar. NAT type issues only but what console doesnt have that issue. Makes me want my next console to be made by Sony! So frustrating to say the least

First of all, thank you for telling us that you have been impacted too.

If i understand well, you recommend us to set up a static IP address address using the xbox mac adress ? Or do you recommend to add the xbox mac adress to the router white list ?

As BrockSherwood1 say, a lot of users have this problem and search for some solutions using forums, not everyone know how to connect to a router and add mac adress to differents settings. Having technical issue does not matter, but that Microsoft does not
recognize them and does not communicate about them generates frustration and custumer loss.

Undoubtedly there are problems also on Fat console, it all depends on the hardware you have. Not all problems are similar, we should know the issue in detail.
