Xbox One X Connection Issue

Hello,

I have the same problem with my xbox one x.

This problem appeared in september, after powering on my xbox, she won't connecting to xbox live and i need to wait 5 minutes, sometimes i need to wait 10 minutes to be able to connect.

I tried the network diagnostic : "everything is fine but xbox services encounter some problem" (sorry for the translation, i'm french).

I can reboot everything (xbox, router) but nothing change. The next day, everything was fine, but it started again a few days later.

I went to see french community forum and found many peoples with the same problem. We have different provider and we have try a lot of different things to solve this problem but we have all come to the same conclusion : this problem appears and disappears
randomly.

It seems that Microsoft does not want to recognize this problem, it's very frustrating to turn on our xbox and wait until the service that we pay every month wants to work correctly.

Microsoft, please investigate this problem.

Xbox One X Won't Connect to Xbox Live

Hello,

My Xbox One X never is able to connect to Xbox Live when I first turn it on. I never had this issue with my Xbox One. I always have to Reset my Alternate Mac Address and usually Hard Reset my Xbox One X. I have ran all the connection tests on my Xbox
One X as well as reset my Internet Connection. But no success. I have had this issue since I got my Xbox One X.

Same happens to my an my One, but with the X the result is quite random.

I have split your post into its own thread in order to help you out directly. This sounds like your console will not connect to your network after being turned off. Are you on Instant on power mode or Energy saving power mode?

I'am using the Energy saving mode. To be precise, my console is connected to the network when i turn it on, i can do a network connectivity test and i have a message that say "you are connected to the internet but there is a problem on the xbox live".

try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

 

That's not going to help. The issue is with the Xbox one x itself. They have a glitch in them, and nothing you do will help. There needs to be a recall.

This is NOT a Xbox One X issue I'm on the fat Xbox One and I have the same issue for 2 months. Maybe a system update broke this, or it's a unknown Xbox live issue..

Also removing the account and set it back seems to temporality fix the issue.

We need a true investigation over this, Xbox support can't help with this issue. They already make me hard reset 2 time my system...

And I'm also from France.

 

Unfortunatly, it dosen't work.
I have removed the account yesterday but i have experienced the same issue this morning.

I do a hard reset on the console, unplug the power box and then unplug your router for 30 seconds. Plug back the router and turn it back on and plug your power plug for your console and turn it back on. Make sure wifi is working

My Xbox have 2 month (bought in september) and have this problem since this first day.

My old xbox one fat had the same problem some days before.

A hard reset will not change anything and this is a annoying process .

However ISP does not have nofing to do with this.

I had the same problem, due to communication with the router. I solved it permanently by adding an ethernet switch (example 4 ports) to the router and connecting the Xbox with the ethernet cable.

 

Clearly not.

Many of my friends have this problem with a fat xbox.
