Xbox One X Codes Don’t Work

So i bought a new Xbox One X at Best Buy. It came with a code of 14 days for Xbox Live Gold and another for a month of Game Pass but when i entered both of them in it just said that they were expired which makes no sense because i just bought this 2 days
ago on July 9th and next to the codes it said that they expire on June 30. I Am So Confused! And Disappointed.....Anyone have any ideas on what i should do?

My Xbox one dont

as any one else purchased an Xbox one x and got it home, plug it in and the bloody thing don’t work. I’m very disappointed with Microsoft’s Quality control. £449.99 for a console that don’t work.

same issue, that code and 80040200 when I tried to use cortona to shut off Xbox. I have the Xbox one x. Never had this issue with the s version. And the error codes don’t pull up on error code lookup
