    Xbox One X clips are always washed out


    Hey all,

    My buddy has an xbox one x and for some reason whenever he records a clip they always turn out super washed out and dull. It looks completely normal when he is playing, and cant find the issue online.

    Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    Do the clips also look washed out when viewing them directly on your Xbox instead? What phone are you using to view the clips?

    I think it must be a bug with the Xbox apps. My Netflix and 4k UHD discs used to look great. Now they are looking washed out on the S and X.

    NETFLIX HDR PROBLEM

    I completely agree. One of the reasons I bought a one X was for the Netflix app with Dolby Atmos. The sound is fabulous but it is completely unwatchable. The black levels are way off and it all looks washed out. Please fix this ASAP.

    Hi Jonjon, thank you so much for reaching out.

    The hard drive is formatted in NTFS by computer prior to connecting it to the Xbox one X.

    I am connected directly to my router getting over 20 down and 8 up.

    No hardware changes done to my one X.
