Xbox One X came back from reparation with the same error

Got back my Xbox one X from repair today super fun.

Started installing a game and lost network connection ok i tested 5 Ghz.
Went over to using cable

Then it cannot find DHCP so tested with my computer and it worked fine.
Restarted router and it started working.

The strange thing about the network cable is that my Xbox 360 ran smoothly with it.
But back to my new repaired xbox it did not.

It was time to install it again, even with cable it lost connection.
But finally I got the game installed.

It turned out that there was the same error here as before before the repair suddenly when changing zone, the xbox shuts off beep.
Not only network problem because I have connection it runs pretty good on the 2.4 Ghz wifi. But had hoped for a good connection on 5 Ghz it’s a Xbox one X.

Before I submitted my Xbox, I made several factory reset and it helped for a while.

But quite sad to get it back and the only thing they did is a factory reset I attached the case that I already done.

Yes, guess that it's only time to wait until it comes up unable to save data ... The Xbox can not be started then you're lucky to get in and resive the message system error E202 800700E 000 ... Then you can troubleshoot and then get the opportunity
to make a factory reset.

Good work Microsoft.

Probably I now have to send my xbox away again and not be able to play for a week or 2 and get it back after Microsoft have done a factory reset again.

Installation stopped

xbox one X with same error,, send my unit to repair, 1 week later came back and in the next day made the same error, I really hate xbox.

Just to clariry since you're mentioning different Wi-Fi frequencies..are you trying to perform these updates and downloads via wireless? Or are you using a cable? Have you tried using a new Ethernet cable?

Better contact support again.

I think that's the only way to go.

 

It's like they take it out of the box, stare at it, do nothing, then put it back in the box.

All you can do is send it back, but kick up a fuss.

A typical repair facility would factory reset the device, connect it to their wireless networks and plug it in. As far as the connection issue, have you tried using it on a different network or with different networking equipment? If you're able to, that's
an easy test to determine if the issue is actually something with your networking devices.

It's like this it connects to the 5Ghz so probably they did test this but after 5 min it closes the connection and all download is stopped and the xbox freezes. This is the same with cable but on the 2.4Ghz it works good but the 2.4Ghz is slower and
I would love to run games in 5Ghz or with cable.

I have tested with cable directly from my router. And I have my computer on the 5Ghz even further away from the router and it never drops the connection.
