Xbox One X buzzing from disc drive while installing

Just got an Xbox One X and noticed while installing Red Dead Redemption 2 that the first disc caused the disc drive to make a buzzing noise during installation.

With the second disc of RDR2 the drive sounded normal, and same goes for Black Ops 4.

Just wanted to see if this might be just the disc or the drive itself.

Purchased Brand New from Target. I tried to be very careful taking them out and i looked and there are no scratches or anything.

Could be the disc all copies are not created equal. Where was the discs purchased? Are they new? Used?

Sounds disc specific. Clean the discs and try again to see if it still happens..also check for deep scratches on the disc

I tried to be very careful removing the disc, but maybe it is warped or out of balance.

I installed two games yesterday—Red Dead and Black Ops—and out of three total discs during those installations the first Red Dead disc was the only one where the noise was present.

If only one disc is causing the buzzing sound, it can be caused by manufacturing tolerances of the disc, or maybe you pulled too hard on the disc when removing it from the case and the disc got slightly warped.

The disc will then start to "wobble" inside the drive causing vibrations that you hear as buzzing sounds.

So if only that one disc is doing the noise, it's because of the disc, and as long as the disc is readable, everything is fine.
