XBOX ONE X bundle activation failed

Hi All,

yesterday I bougth the Tomb Raider bundle and I tried to activate it via website microsoft.com/redeem without success.

I should try this code on my xbox.

On my xbox it is noted that this code needs to be activated somewhere else. I should read the instructions where to activate.

I tried it also with my phone app. NO WAY

Xbox support is not able to help me till Monday till a special team or a taskforce or the guys from the Avengers will solve the problem.

I found some other people with the same issue.

It is very frustrating to buy a xbox and you can´t play the bundle game.

So waiting for Monday I guess...

I just bought a xbox one x tomb raider bundle. When i try to activate the key for downloading the game its saying "Read the instructions enclosed with your code. You may need to redeem it on another website."

Well the instruction saying i need to redeem it on microsoft.com/redeem but its still same problem.

So i think i need to redeem the code at square enix. But i didnt find any way to redeem the 25 digit code i only have.

We purchased an xbox 1s yesterday with the Tomb Raider bundle and are having the exact same problem!! Looks like we need the Avangers too, its a pity they are busy till Monday. Oh well looks like the PS4 isnt redundant yet....

 

It could be as simple as changing the region and language settings on the Xbox to lets say USA then trying to redeem the code on the Xbox. I have seen that work before with the same issue but other games.

 

Also bought an xbox bundle with tomb raider from amazon.co.uk and been unable to redeem the game in germany, changing region or language doesn't help either.

 

Could be a problem at Microsoft's end although all appears ok here Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

That's not to say there isn't a problem somewhere of course, it may just not be showing up yet.

Ok so you're in Germany and purchased the bundle from the UK? what happens if you change the region and language of your Xbox to United Kingdom and then try the code on the Xbox ?

 

Spent several hours yesterday trying to get code for shadow of the tomb raider to activate. Contacted GAME who couldn't help unless Microsoft said the code was faulty. MS said code was fine it was a glitch in the redeeming system and they know about it
and are working on it. I now also have a brand new xbox one sitting idle. MS advice is just keep trying. Less than impressed.

 

Thanks for posting that, at least it's a known issue although not ideal I must agree.

 

As I said, already tried changing region and language on xbox, but dosen't work.

If I try to redeem on microsoft.com/redeem its says germany after my email adress even if I changed my country to uk, strange.

 

Today on Monday, I could activate the gane easily.

All perfect now.#

Me too, I can't play Shadow of the Tomb Raider
