    Xbox One X Broadcasting problems


    Hello, I have connection's problems with my Xbox One X. Since a few weeks I tested the Twitch broadcast from the Xbox One X and I have big problems. There are drops in the flow at regular intervals that makes me think that there is a problem either software
    or hardware with my Xbox. I tested the broadcast from my cable connection AND from a 4G connection. The problem is the same. In addition, I do not have the same problems of broadcasting from a computer. This is not a problem with my connection.

    Would anyone have the same problem and could tell me if it is a software or hardware problem?

    EDIT: I forgot to say that sometimes, the twitch app stop the broadcast with no reasons.

    Hi,

    I think the Twitch app and integration on Xbox it's very bad. When Microsoft buy Mixer we don't have de same support for Twitch Streaming from the developpers. If you don't have any problem for streaming with your PC and you have a wired connection on your
    console, i just think it's a problem witch Twitch app on Xbox.

    Maybe you can try with another Xbox in the same house and after in another house. If you have the same problem maybe contact directly Twitch.

    Hi there Altis,

    It doesnt appear to be a connection problem at all, You would need to see your bitrate setting, and your upload speed. If your upload speed is 10mb/s then you can stream at 2800kb/s as a bit rate.

    But if your upload is only a 5mb/s then stream at 2000kb/s.

    The only question about your connection would be if its fibre, or ADSL for cable. on ADSL you'd have to check what your upload and download is while playing a game or doing other actions.

    On your router though, make sure that the correct ports are open for twitch. you
    only really need Outbound TCP port 1935 for twitch RTMP.

    Have you tested out streaming on the mixer app?

    Judging by your Upload speed, that is the issue. What are you running your Bitrate at? 2.5 gb is not really the best for streaming. And if the bitrate is set to high this will be your problem and will cause the frame rate drop.

    I am assuming that the 2,648 kbps is your Upload. I am not 100 percent sure.
