Xbox One X - Boot Errors E201 and 205

I am returning and exchanging my current Xbox One X. In the last 48 hours the system began to go haywire - constantly requiring the resyncing of data, presenting with the inability to fully download updates and crashing at every turn. I was eventually
redirected to the dreaded E201 and E205 errors upon restart of the console. After approximately ten attempts to restore the device to factory defaults - all of which failed to complete - I contacted Microsoft support. In essence they are aware of people
having a similar issue and the only remedy they could suggest is bringing it to a Microsoft Store for service or exchange (more than an hour away).

I am fuming. Taking it to their store and having it repaired if there were none to exchange could leave me without a system for up to 30 days or more per the customer rep - not to mention the cost and hassle of having to drive an hour each way to at minimum
pick up a new console. A second proffered option was to return the Xbox to Microsoft using their shipping label but of course they could not supply the box to ship it back in creating additional inconvenience. Fortunately my purchase of the system is within
the holiday purchase window at Best Buy and I will be exchanging it there.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that this is all more than anecdotal. There is a serious software flaw perhaps being created by Microsoft's recent updates that is rendering systems useless. Add on top of it the fact that Microsoft has presented
such inadequate response and I have never more considered turning to Sony for my gaming. I purchased the One X and shifted my Xbox One to another room because I've had relatively good luck with MS's products. This undoubtedly has made me question it.

Disappointed

These were the system errors I was getting E200 000000EF 00000000 and E105 00000000 8007045D. My Xbox One X would freeze and it the loading screen for the Xbox One X chip video would be lagging and out of sync with audio and video. I would also get something
went wrong errors and syncing problems.

E200 can be caused by update issues. I would suggest following this link, and using the system update solution linked in this KB article. The same update solution
listed in the e200 link would also apply for E201 errors. That said, if your console is only 3 days old I would highly suggest taking your using back to the retailer, and exchanging it for another one. Provided you keep your Xbox connected to the internet
all the saves and settings are backed up to the cloud. You will however need to reinstall any games.
