Xbox one x black screen

It appears that there are many of our xbox one x systems suffering from the black screen issue and several ideas on how to fix it.

I've tried the forced shut down and restart without results.

Hard reset sometimes helps but lately couldn't even get that option to appear.

I've unplugged the system overnight and often it'll boot up as if nothing was ever wrong so that leads me to the hard drive and or corruption of the files in temporary storage.

Had a chat online with the Microsoft help and they also pointed towards the hdd and recommended sending in for repair.

I did look at that option but it seems as the system is no longer supported the only option is £240 exchange for a previously repaired unit.

I decided to strip the whole system down again and check everything including the capacitors that apparently also fail.

All looks pretty much perfect, so I then pulled the hdd out of its mount and connected it via a usb3 to hdd adaptor to my computer, went into the tools tab and asked it to check for errors and also for fragmentation.

Every partition had errors so I allowed the computer to fix each one individually.

I've rebuilt the xbox and now it is booting and running spot on (so far), I'm

Playing Destiny 2 at 4k for a substantial amount of time without hick up.

I'm going to keep an eye on the system for a few weeks to see how it goes.

Next step will be to replacement of the hdd, possibly with an sshd or an ssd drive.

Just thought I'd share seeing as at present it's working great.
