Xbox One X - black screen

Hi, I picked up my X tonight all loaded played a few games no problem but when ever I press the power button on controller to go back to home my screen it goes black? I can hear the dashboard when moving side to side just no picture?
Is this a hardware or a software issue? I’ve read a few about the black screen but them issues seem to be a dead console?

Xbox One X Black Screen

For the last 4-5 months Ive been having black screen issues, where I get dot running across the screen, then it going all black with parts of the HUD still showing. Here is a link to the PUBG forums where I've already posted about this issue

Xbox One X - Black Screen

Upon startup, no load animation and the occasional boot to the home screen, if not, a black screen. When trying to launch a game, within 15 or so seconds, black screen. Its not the display or HDMI as ive tried several HDMIs across my TV and monitor, all
which work with my Day One Xbox One. Booting the xbox into emergency low resolution mode didnt work, and neither does trying to resolve the issue via a usb reset/update as there is a black screen preventing me from doing anything.

Any other ways to try to fix this issue or can I receive a fix/replacement?

Hi, I've had and continue to have the same problem with my X along with other issues which I won't go into detail about here. Usually if you press the home button on the controller and select Home it'll get the display back, although it can take a couple
of tries for that to work.

I have 2 Xbox ones and a one X and all 3 are black screened after being reset multiple times. Please help. Please fix

But thx for answer, i found a button in the screen after finding the screen notice...

and the game got only 2 black colums on each side, but it will be enough for me.

No 4k, but well, not a 4k Screen.

I bought my Xbox One S in December 2018 and currently i'm experiencing 2nd black screen in a few months.

I got first black screen in January 2019 and got my xbox fixed by Microsoft. Now in June 2019 i got 2nd black screen. So frustrated!

I'm curious what did they fix? What is causing black screens? I'm also playing my games on external hard drive to not strain the internal hard drive but black screen keeps happening.

I've tried troubleshooting steps (except the usb update cause i don't remember my dashboard version and i still have black screen) so i'm confused nothing works.

I'm thinking if it gets fixed for a 2nd time i'm going to sell my Xbox One S and buy an Xbox One X so maybe i would have better luck with different hardware. I really don't know... my white Xbox 360 Pro is still alive and never got red ring of death and
Xbox One S keeps breaking with black screens. I'm lucky with Xbox 360 but so unlucky with Xbox One S. I'm so disappointed with Microsoft hardware.
