    Xbox One X Black Screen of death 1 day after Warranty Expired


    Anyone have any experience with this? My Console froze up while playing the new Jedi game and had to shut it down. Now when I try turning it on, the white xbox emblem turns on, but there is no picture to my TV. It just stays black. I've tried a hard
    reset, but that has done nothing. This console has been periodically freezing at times since the day I unboxed it, but thought that maybe it was normal. Maybe this was a dud from the start and this was the final nail in the coffin. Does Microsoft have any
    leeway here? Seems pretty ridiculous that it would finally not turn on a day after my factory warranty expired.

    Definitely contact support and try to open a ticket for repair ASAP. Theres a defent chance for leway when its literally hours out of the warranty window. Hopefully this will get fixed for you.

    Wanted to update:

    Went to the Microsoft Store and showed them the proof of the warranty expiring a day before it broke. They did me a solid and exchanged it right there for me. Took it home and it feels faster from the start! I always thought the interface was laggy and
    clunky, but it seems like I had a bad xbox one x from day one as this one runs smooth.
