    Ok last night got the black screen, did the reset and played destiny 2 for a few hours. Now today same thing black screen on boot up again, Has anyone had this happen a second time??

    I powered up my XBox today without any issue, maybe it was a fluke. I would recommend performing a full shut down and reboot of the console, this should hopefully correct the issue.

    Thank you for posting here on the Forums. Check out this article for troubleshooting steps regarding a blank screen :

    Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on

    Also, did you mean the display settings reset where you hold the power and eject button to turn it on? if so, you may want to try a different HDMI cord on your Xbox.
