Xbox One X- Black Ops 4 Frame Rate...

Hello, recently bought an Xbox One X, and have found Black Ops 4 to be completely unplayable due to frame rate drops, I literally feel like im playing at 20FPS at times, been going through reddit and other forums to see if anyone is experiencing the same
problems as me, but I can't seem to find anybody. Any fixes or do I have a Faulty console?

What makes this game so good?

The frame rate is very good on Black Ops. I was gobsmacked on Sunday Night playing Black Ops and then changing over to Bad Company 2 and noticing the difference. Takes my eyes a few minutes to readjust each time. However graphics in Black Ops are not spectacular
by any means, and all smoothness goes from the experience playing with P2P. Still frame rate impressive but I doubt you could ever have destruction in the game at those rates.

 

PS3

The first Black Ops runs like crap on the PS3 as well, lower frame rate, screen tear and it looked much worse. Haven't played Black Ops 2 on the PS3 but I'm not surprised that it has similar issues.

 

Hello, it's possible that you have a weak internet connection and that's why FPS's fall in the game. It's a pure multiplayer game.

Or it can be a problem with the game, you can try reinstalling this game or wait for some HOT-Fix to come up.

 

Open NAT, playing Wired, detailed network statistics are healthy, with 350MB download speed, 23ms latency and no packet loss. Don't see how it could be my internet, and lag and FPS are too different things if I'm right. Like I could still lag but have
high fps for example.

 

Yes lag and FPS drop are different things but you have to take into account that this is a purely multiplayer game. So the Internet plays a big part here. So FPS drops can have a similar cause as lags.

But if you have a download speed of 350 MB. So we can rule out this problem.

So it may be true that there is a problem in the console.

It could overheat.

It depends how long you have a console. There may be dust in it and it needs to be cleaned to keep the air flowing well.

 

At the PUBG game the problem with FPS drops is known. It was a bad optimization, and so developers had to work on updates that reduced the quality of textures.
