Xbox one x battlefield 4 4k update

Hi,

4K gaming only applies to Xbox One X.

With regards to 4K for Xbox One X, if a game has been enhanced for 4K, then this is normally included on the disc for current games or as an additional update. Once the update is done, and the game is running, it won't be using more data bandwidth when
you play online. That's not how it works. It's not the same as streaming a 4K Netflix video.

For example, you buy Battlefield V on disc. You insert the disc to install the game. You will be prompted for an update. Once you complete this update and play online, you won't be using more bandwidth than other players on original Xbox One or the One
S, you'll use exactly the same as they do. Your 4K enhancement is only about having better graphics and performance, you're not 'streaming' in 4K.

If for example you bought the single player only game like Fallout 4 on disc for the One X, during the install you'd be prompted for the enhancement update. Once you have the update, that's it. Unless you buy additional DLC, you won't be using any more
data.

Streaming from sites like Netflix would work differently. Regardless of your settings, if you watch a film on Netflix that is only Full HD, then it will use less data then a 4K Movie or Episode.

You can adjust the stream quality in the settings within the app.

Note that to get 4K on Netflix you have to pay a higher subscription fee anyway, otherwise the highest possible stream quality would be 1080P.

If you just want 4K, even a Xbox One S would be more viable, since it is cheaper. But if you want power and 4K combined, then the Xbox One X is better. Also if you just dont care about 4K and you focus in the power, you should wait for the Xbox Scarllet,
since it is 4 times more powerful than the One X (litteraly, 4 Xbox One X in one box).

The original Xbox One cannot produce 4k images. Only the Xbox One S can (sampling) and the Xbox One X (true 4k).

And remember: S and X consoles doesn't need firmware updates to play 4K content.

Yes, 100% in my opinion. having said that its about the content you use. do you have a 4k TV, use 4K Blu-ray movies or have games such as Gears 4 that look so much better with the Xbox one X enhanced updates? if you do then I would upgrade to the X every
time.
