Xbox One X \ Backwards Compatibility \ Xbox 360 Save Upload Pending

All of my 360 save games on Xbox One X are in status Upload Pending. This situation is still for about 2 years now. All system updates,

change of houses (networks) did not shift it.

So as of now:

1. My network NAT is in Open status, connected via cable. No issues with Networking or Xbox Live Services at the moment.

2. I have Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which includes Gold which allows 360 cloud saves

3. I have tried deleting profile and then re-downloading it.

4. Manually pressing Sync on a Game folder doesn't help also.

I started this topic before with no resolve, hope can do it now.

Any suggestion would be desired )

Hi, i think uploading of 360 save games never happened since i moved from Xbox One to Xbox One X, which was about 2 years ago.

I am using 360 occasionally for non BC titles. 360 uploads games to cloud normally and i can see it on Xbox One after that. 360 has a manager where i can explicitly upload needed files, while on Xbox One there is Sync function only, which only downloads
new save games from cloud, but does not upload (

Be aware that the saving for Xbox 360 backwards compatible games on the Xbox One is a bit more complicated than saving on an original Xbox 360, or game saves for actual Xbox One games.

The Xbox 360 games have no idea of the Xbox One's concept of "suspending" games and multitasking.

So if you are done playing a Xbox 360 game, you HAVE TO make sure to properly quit the game by going to the Home Screen, and pressing the Menu button on the main game tile.

There choose to Quit the Xbox 360 game.

Only then the game will properly write the save file and is ready to be synchronized and uploaded to the cloud.

Also: NAT as well as Gold memberships don't affect saving on the Xbox One. You only need Gold to use the cloud save on a real Xbox 360 console.

I just tried on several games both quitting from Xbox One menu and 360 Guide Menu (Leave game) with no success. Save games are still in upload pending status.

I'm sorry that you're still experiencing issues, and have noted your replies. How long has it been, since you last used a 360 console? Seeing as you mentioned that his has been happening for
an extremely long amount of time, it might be related. If you still have access, try signing into your old console, and checking your content.

Please note, that if you choose to upload data from your 360 console, it
will overwrite any saves in the cloud that you have worked on via Xbox One #BackCompat. Here is an

I deleted profile from 360 guide menu only. I did not delete corresponding Xbox One profile.
