    Xbox one x backwards compatibility problem


    So,anyway my son has a Xbox one x, runs great with digital games & xbox one games disk.

    However, backwards compatibility games like Duke Nukem forever, & Doom 3 BFG will not load. The disk drive works fine other than those games.those games will load perfectly fine on 360 console.

    When you load the backwards compatible games into xbox one x it does nothing.we let it sit for 30 minutes.nothing. both games. I even tried bordrlands 2 disk, several others..nothing. but movies, or xbox one games work fine.

    Also, would game sharing cause any problems for backwards compatibile disks not to load? But remember Xbox one games do load. Console gaming area is in USA.

    If you are trying to find the game on your Xbox One X that is what the problem is.

    The game Remember Me for the Xbox 360 is NOT a backwards compatible game.

    Here is a link to a list of games that are currently backwards compatible.

    Backwards compatible list

    This is why it is not showing up on your Xbox One X.

    Until they put it on that list it will not be able to be played on Any Xbox One

    And, if it were not backwards compatible, you might have to wait until the release of Xbox Series X, as they have said they have stopped working on bringing Backwards Compatible titles to Xbox One until the Series X launch to get Backwards Compatibility
    up and running on the Series X. Form there, I imagine they will move back to bringing titles to both Series X and Xbox One for a few more years.

    The $29 one you saw is the Xbox One version of the game which is backwards compatible with the Series S/X. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.

    Xbox ones backwards compatibility program has ended. Xbox series x will bring four generations of backwards compatibility. So hopefully in time.
