    Xbox One X audio out of sync with UHD bluray


    I have been trying to play a UHD bluray on my new Xbox One X. It starts out playing fine, but after a minute or two the audio becomes out of sync with the video. It's unwatchable at that point. If I stop the playback and reload the bluray, once again
    it will play fine for a minute but then gets out of sync again.

    How does this happen? This console is marketed as a UHD bluray player, but it doesn't work properly.

    I have my xbox hooked up to a Denon receiver which then outputs audio to the speakers and sends the video to an Epson projector.

    Any tips anyone? thanks

    This is happening on my Xbox one s, Uhd bluray plays fine but standard bluray audio is out of sync.

    When I watched Thor: Ragnorok UHD on my X the audio was out of sync but I think that was because I was changing audio tracks, settled on the DD+ track then restarted and it was in perfect sync however near the end the film froze so obviously it has issues but Thor was the 4th UHD I had watched on it and the others were all fine from start till finish.

    4K UHD Blu-ray problems - picture stuttering

    Spent 2 and a half hours after this last update ruined everything.

    Fix for me:

    Uninstall/reinstall BluRay App

    Set playback to stereo (Temporarily)

    Disable 24hz, Disable 50hz, Enable HDR, Disable Amp controlling playback (under bluray)

    - Shutdown xbox

    - Power on xbox

    - start playing any Bluray/UHD BluRay.

    - Aslong as this works, start turning on features again

    - Rewind UHD to begining, set your surround sound/atmos/amp decode audio.

    Lip Sync Issues when playing blu-ray on Xbox One.

    I've read that it is a problem with some bluray discs, and not always with the console or AVR. For example, when my son watches Monsters University on the PS3, the audio and video is out of sync. To get it right, I switch the audio on the PS3 to just dolby
    digital and not DTS. Once that is done, it works fine. I haven't tried this on my xbox one, but might soon. I found this out by searching Monsters University audio sync and found the problem wasn't with the console. I hope this helps.

    I Am having this same Issue with Audio Sync Issues. Tried watching couple movies tonight via BluRay APP and Audio Sync issues was very bad.

    just found the solution !

    uncheck 24Hz option and now im in 4k 60p for my UHD blu ray :)
