    when I launch netflix pr occasionally turn on the system I hear crackling in the audio. It is hooked up thru hdmi and I've tried every setting and even factory reset the system and it still does it. It doesnt always do it in games

    Xbox One X Audio Issue

    I have an Xbox One X connected to a Denon AVR-S930H. Recently I have been having issues where the audio will stop. Usually this happens when switching between apps (Netflix, Amazon Video, Vudu). Sometimes it will occur when I finish watching a video and
    start another. I can power cycle the receiver and audio returns. At first, I blamed this on the receiver. I connected to another receiver with the same results. Connecting the Xbox to the TV produces the same results. I also have a PS4 connected to the same
    receiver and have experienced no audio issues there. Video always works, only audio is affected. Steps I have taken so far:

    - Tried different HDMI ports on both receivers

    - Tried different HDMI cables (3 different cables)

    - Verify audio settings on receiver and Xbox

    Xbox Audio settings are Bitstream with Dolby Atmos enabled. Any ideas pointing to a fix would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hey there Noncense,

    Sorry to hear about the audio issue. Just to clarify, does this only occur when you launch Netflix & close Netflix or does this also happen when you power on your Xbox One console? Is your audio playing out of your TV speakers, or do you have a sound bar
    set up? Additionally, try setting your audio output settings to 'Stereo uncompressed' if it isn't set to that already. You can find those settings through our

    Audio Settings on Xbox One page    .

    If possible, please try a different HDMI cable to see if the issue persists. Please reply back with that information above, and let us know if you're able to try out a different HDMI cable. Thanks for posting!

    When will the XBOX ONE bitstream DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD lossless formats?

    Why not tackle this important issue? Why are not these two audio formats in the bitstream of the xbox one x console added?

    Xbox One X: Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support

    As the Xbox One X is an audio source, it doesn't need to send or receive audio via ARC or eARC.

    Audio Return Channel is only for TV's that are supposed to "return" Audio back to an AV receiver or connected Soundbar.

    As the Xbox One X doesn't have speakers to play audio recieved through ARC, it won't support "ARC" or "eARC". Your TV needs to support ARC or eARC.

    What exactly is your TV and console setup, that you would need eARC in the Xbox One X?

    I have the same issue. HDMI from x box one to TV monitor LG No sound. And in the settings for audio it will not let me select hdmi audio, optical audio only. I have an optical cable connected to x boxing and tv optical in And still no sound.
