Xbox One X Audio Cutting Out for Millisecond(s).

Hello All,

I recently upgraded to an Xbox One X from my S and have begun noticing audio issues. After playing for a period of time, audio will begin to cut out frequently with an increasing occurrence. I tried a different headset and other headphones as well as a few
other controllers but the same issue persisted. This must be an issue with the Xbox itself relating to performance issues and possibly heat build up in the system causing radio frequency disturbances. My Xbox is in an open space, well ventilated, and has no
interference with other electronics between the system and the controllers. I've seen other people with the same issues with no resolve.

Thanks for getting back to me. Hope we can get to the bottom of this!

- The issue does not persist when not using headphones, it might but its hard to hear since tv audio isnt clear to begin with.

- It happens on every game, especially graphically intense ones. I believe it has to do with how much load the console is under as it only gets worse (heat build up?) when im in a game playing.

- I have seen some others experiencing this issue and their solution was to clear the MAC adress. It fixed it temporaily but it might just be the fact that the console restarts and has a chance to cool.

I tried all of that and none of which helped. What I did find to be successful is reducing the video output to 1080p and immediatley had no more cutting in the audio. Im a bit dissapointed as this means that the 4k capability (or lack thereof) of the One
X cant be utilized and might warrant a return. Surely this can be adressed in an update, no?

Despite my prior success changing it to 1080p and no longer having any audio cut, it has actually continued to do so.
