xbox one x asks me to update every 8 days

Have you signed up to the Xbox Insider System Update program via the Xbox Insider Hub app? If so then you may want post on the Xbox
Insiders Reddit to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue or if there is a work around to the issue.

If you are not part if the Xbox Inside program, i would suggest you try a ‘soft’ reset of your console to factory defaults.
Make sure you choose the Reset and keep my games & apps option and save any local data not backed up to the cloud.

Same here multiple updates and still to this day the xbox one x crashes for me playing modern warfare. Its a hard crash and makes me want to switch to PlayStation 4.

I haven't had this issue. I have the Day One Xbox 1 Edition with Kinect console (500GB). It seriously tho feels like Microsoft is spamming us with updates, for Xbox, for Windows 10. We get at least one update EVERY month. 21st century technology is so crappy
it needs updating, regularly, lol.

The reason they are doing updates every month is because we asked for it, people didn't like having to wait three months or even six months between updates, so Microsoft gave us what people asked for. Now I didn't ask for monthly updates, but that doesn't
matter, big companies listen to the loudest voices, and in this case it was "WE WANT REGULAR UPDATES!!!!"

From the outside looking in (as I'm not a preview member), may I humbly suggest that if you don't want these daily updates you should pull out of the program? As for whether or not these updates are mandatory, I guess we should wait and see whether any other
preview members have got the same prob?
