Xbox one x appears on screen backend support update to continue, nothing happens, why not ?

This is a game's dev features updates and I suggest you to post this at Bethesda's support forums for better help.

Yes did that.

skyrim removed all mods , reinstalled was now able to actually save, so after sleeping will try to open saved game, maybe after 2 weeks it will work?

Didn't see it in the other posts, but the stability issues on Xbox One X seemed to have been addressed, but nothing concrete on what they did:

Backend fixes to prevent crashes and increase stability–we’ll have to see if this helps poor Xbox One players who keep reporting crashes.

Thanks for coming to the forums. With console updates, if you ignore them, eventually they will automatically install. This could be why it is doing the grey screen. Try leaving it go for a bit to see what happens. It may be trying to apply an update. If
continue to get the grey screen you will need to do an
offline update and after that is done update the console when you connect to the internet.
