Xbox One X - app install error x80073cf0

Repeated uninstall and install/launch is not helping. This is Amazon Prime app on Xbox One X.

Any workarounds?

CH9 App on Xbox One X not working

Hi,

I just installed Channel 9 app on my new Xbox One X and it does not work.

After launch, the app exits on the home page of console.

No errors are shown, just exits.

Blue Ray Installation Issues

Hey, just tried to install the Blue-Ray app on my Xbox One X and came up with the error code “0x80240013“ and the error code search would come up with anything. Anyone know what to do so I can actually download this app and watch some movies?

Hi RajaYo,

Sorry to hear this is happening. I've actually have ran into a post with the same situation and the fix for it was the following:

Uninstall the Amazon Prime Video app from your Xbox One.

Afterwards we want to perform a
Soft Factory Reset(while keeping games and apps)
Before resetting your console make sure of the following:

There is a stable network connection.

The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup let's do
manual setup. Once everything is set up re-download the Amazon Prime app.

Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

Same here (Germany, Xbox Series X, Game Pass Ultimate).

I have downloaded the Game Pass iOS app which allows me to select on which Xbox (One X or Series X) I want to install the game on but it fails with "Es ist ein Problem aufgetreten" (An Error occurred).

Thanks for your reply.

I've tried all that. I've even tried logging in using a different xbox profile.

Nothing I do will get the app to install on my Xbox One X.

I just don't understand why the app will download just fine on my OG Xbox One but totally fail to download on my Xbox One X even after a full factory reset. It's just baffling.

If it wasn't for the fact that it's the only app that wont install I would assume my X is faulty. But all other games and apps I try install fine.

"Install to" tells me to use the XBox app.

The app only gives the option to launch the game (as it is already installed).

If it helps, I am in the UK and my console is an XBox One X.

Unfortunately nothing has worked. My PC is up to date with everything and I cleared my Microsoft Store cache. In terms of installing the Xbox app I can't install it or literally anything at all. That error message I posted a screenshot of, keeps popping every time I click on an app or anything else. I close the message by clicking the "x", click "get" on an app, then the error message pops up again. It just constantly pops up and nothing installs.
