    Xbox one x and elite controller


    I don't know why I'm the only one with major problems with anything from Microsoft. So right now I'm currently looking at my frozen xbox screen trying to update my elite controller. My controller randomly disconnected and now it won't sync. Since it decided
    to do this, I've unplugged my xbox and it literally wouldnt turn off for 3 minutes. Tried plugging in my elite controller with USB and did not work. Honestly don't get it, have had nothing but problems and Microsoft only made things more frustrating especially
    when they wouldn't provide me a shipping address to send my defective console after buying expedited shipping. Asked multiple times over a few months but never got anything. Can't send elite controller in because out of warranty. Besides the point,

    Any tips on how to fix console or controller?

    Yes I've tried hard resetting it (multiple times)

    No I'm not paying to send my console in for them to send it back still defective.

    The Xbox One X will be compatible with all Xbox One controllers, including the Elite controllers.

    The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

    I have an older wireless xbox controller that came with the console and the buttons on that work fine.

    So, I see we are the only two people with the Xbox One X that are having this problem. One question I have for you, are you using the Elite controller? It seems Xbox support has no answers except to power down, power up, reboot the router, make sure everything
    is upgraded, on one leg and swing a rubber chicken over your head, etc... The only time I have this problem of no response is when using the Elite controller with the X. When I switch over to the standard controller I have no problem. If I use the Elite on
    my Xbox One day one edition with the Elite I have no problem.
