I own a physical copy of South Park TSOT but can install it. I get a message saying the game isn't currently available. I had a look through the store and it also says unavailable there, noticed a lot of other games had a blank area under the box art where the price would be, some of them I own through GWG and it gives me the option to install next to the unavailable message.

Is this an issue with being on Alpha SA Ring or have a lot of games reach end of life recently and can only be downloaded if owned?

I went on the marketplace.xbox.com site and found the South Park TSOT listing and it showed a price and would let me purchase the game if I wanted. This says to me it isn't end of life and there is an issue.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Hi, I tried to private message you but it didn't work.

You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
rings.

Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.

You need to either be in the uk or us and be an xbox insider on ring beta, alpha or alpha skip ahead.

It is still in test at this point in time. It may come out with the fall update, which has no release date yet.

In other words, as a simple user with xbox one x and compatible tv, I can't be using Dolby Vision until update?

ps Fall update - before december, correct?

If you're not in the alpha or alpha skip ahead preview rings in the xbox insider program you will have to wait, yes.

Hi,

you can change rings in the xbox insider hub when yo manage the xbox update preview rings note that alpha and alpha skip ahead are invite only but you should be able to join the beta ring

Hi Natpars,

so how the program works is that by joining a higher up ring you get access to updates before the lower down rings and due to skip ahead being a new ring it is a limited number ring like all alpha but you will have to rejoin beta ring if you do leave alpha
skip ahead ring. you do not drop to your previous ring.
