Xbox one x achievement icons problem

hi,

i recently bought an xbox one x after my old original xbox one finally gave up, but now i find that when i unlock an achievement the picture doesnt show up. The achievement unlocks and i get the notification but the picture or icon doesnt show. Also in the
menus such as store or community, just getting the words but no pictures on screen ie - new games but no pictures to accompany the wording ?

Hi there, If a Hard Reset dosn't work as stated by Parity above go a head and clear your cache.

To help improve gameplay, temporary files and data are often stored on your console. Over time, this cached data might become corrupted, which can lead to issues with connectivity, game freezes, or slow or unsuccessful game loads.

To to this go to Settings, Network, Network Settings, Advance Settings then Click Alternate MAC Address then click Clear.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Yep mine is too and the first day I had it, it showed an Xbox One icon. At least now it shows a Series X icon.

Someone else I know said theirs shows up as Xbox One also but has a Series X icon.

Problem only on Xbox One, I have latest update and yes I've tried hold down the X icon on the front of the Xbox One for 8-10 seconds (I thought it called hard reset)

Of course! Unfortunately, once you've used Xbox One icons, you will be unable to switch back to older icons from the Xbox 360 console.
