Xbox one X + Acer 27" Class Curved WQHD FreeSync Gaming Monitor ( ED273UR)

Hi Guys

I am new to gaming and all. just got a new monitor Acer 27" ED273UR. It was in a deal.

I was hoping that i would be able to do 120Hz with 1440P from my xbox on this monitor but i can only do 1080P + 120Hz or 1440P +60hz . Can someone please help me. i would appreciate if you can explain the best way to achieve the high resolution or suggest
a good monitor where i can push either 2K or 4k with high refresh rate.

Acer Nitro XZ273U Pbmiiphx 27" 1000R Curved Zero-Frame WQHD (2560 x 1440) Gaming Monitor with AMD FreeSync Premium is my exact monitor and my monitor is just connected with a 2.0 hdmi cord.

The One X’s HDMI version does not support framerates above 60hz. You need to use a PC or wait for XSX.

The best advice I can give you is to play with the settings (both in game and in the system settings) and see if you can get the performance you are after, but I doubt it will happen. Ultimately if you want the high resolution with high refresh rates,
such as 1440p and 120Hz you'd be better with a PC, as you are free to build it to the requirements you want, it may end up costing more than the Xbox One X, and its probably not what you are after, but for the absolute best graphical experience I think PC
is the way to go.

I have got multiple games that does support the high frame rate. one of them is forza horizon 4. but i can play it on one or the other performance matrics. I just want to know if i am missing anyting on my end. i want to achive higer throughput possible
from xboxonex. I am also open to chagne the monitor if you can please suggest a good one.
