    Hi guys,

    Im.slowly going crazy over this.

    So i bought the xbox one x in Australia, and also bought a TCL 55p6us. The tv is 4k ultra hd and has hdr, which aupports both video and gaming.

    I have played forza 4 and it looks stunning. The graphics when i am playing a game is awesome.

    The problem is when i play 4k movies. I have tried both deadpool 2 which look barely 4k and jack reacher, which to be honest looks a bit more like 720p.

    I have done the usual settings and get the green thingy next to most of the 4k details, except on dolby vision. So i should be all good. But sadly, the 4k movies i play do not look impressive at all. When i stream 4k on netflix, its hit or miss, and i do
    understand that this may be because of my wifi speeds. But while watching Earth 11, on netflix the other night, it was true awesome 4k.

    All the hdmi ports in the tv support the xbox one and i have the one im using set to hdmi2.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Why is the 4k player on the xbox one x not displaying in stunning 4k as it should?

    Hey there Prince-Nicks!

    Sorry to hear that you're having problems trying to watch your movies in the highest resolution possible. If you haven't yet, I would suggest deleting and reinstalling the Blu-ray player app.

    If that doesn't resolve the issue, I would suggest trying what we call a soft reset of your console.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    Are you playing these movies from a 4k UHD Blu Ray or streaming service? If from disk, have you updated the Blu Ray player app on the Xbox?
