Xbox One X 4K patch not downloading?

Please help me if I'm wrong, but I wonder if I'm not getting the 4K patches on my new Xbox One X. I have an Original Xbox One that came with the Kinect and an Xbox One X. I'm going to be referencing Halo 5 in this post. Halo 5 is 97.2 GB on both consoles.
Why is that? Shouldn't Halo 5 have a bigger file size on the Xbox One X?

Here are some more specifics. Both consoles are setup for automatic updates. Both consoles are set to instant on mode. I was going to transfer Halo 5 from Xbox One to Xbox One X via network transfer. It wouldn't work. I had both consoles on and both set
up for network transfer. But when I would click on the Xbox One from the Xbox One X menu none of the games would show up. But the games would show up if I clicked on the Xbox One X from the Xbox One. But that wasn't helpful. But anyway back on point. I ended
up downloading Halo 5 to the Xbox One X from My Games and Apps->and ready to install. (I bought my games digitally.) The game plays fine. But do I have the 4K patch? Like I said it's the same size. So was Halo Wars 2.

The other thing I want to mention is this. On the Xbox One there is an option to download 4K content. That option is not available on the Xbox One X. Now I have not enabled that option on the Xbox One, because I didn't want to eat up space on it. The Xbox
One doesn't support 4K games. I don't have an option for that on Xbox One X. I would enable it if it did. But two things in regard to this. 1 I thought the Xbox One X would prompt me for a 4K patch/update when I go to start the game. I thought it was mandatory.
2. Could me not enabling 4k content updates on the Xbox One be causing the Xbox One X not to get 4K updates? It shouldn't because again I don't want 4K updates on the Xbox One. I want 4K updates for the Xbox One X.

How do I download the 4k patches in preparation?

4K patches will automatically download on your Xbox One S when available.

On the Xbox One X, if your game installation didn't get the 4K patch ahead of time, they'll still get the 4K patches as a required update before you play it.

From what it seems here on the
Halo Waypoint page, 4K support was integrated into the latest patch, regardless of what console you're on. So, that should explain why both installations are the same size on both of your consoles.

Mandatory 4K updates on the Xbox One X will only be prompted if your transferred game installation didn't finish the 4K asset download when it was still on the old Xbox One, or if the developer has recently released a 4K patch.
Ultimately, if 4K assets are available, the Xbox One X would never run the game without it.

Halo 5 on Xbox One is 109.2 GB and Halo 5 on Xbox One X is 97.2 GB. That's right the file size is bigger on the original Xbox One and not the X. Shouldn't it be the other way around or at least the same size?

 

I show 97 GB on both my S and X.

 

Have this exact same issue, if that's what it is. Multiple Xbox One X enhanced games installed (titanfall 2, wof 2, cod WWIII and slime rancher) but can't tell if I have the 4k updates. File sizes are the same as on standard Xbox One and I was never prompted
to install a big update upon launching any of the games for the first time on the X. Do I have the updates? I don't have a 4k tv but the X is supposed to force install 4k updates regardless if they are available, but from what I can tell it hasn't. It's pretty
frustrating not knowing if it's working properly, should be a simple way to tell if 4k updates are installed or not. Help?
