Xbox one x 4k flickering and losing connection

Discus and support Xbox one x 4k flickering and losing connection in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought a used Xbox one x, I have a tcl 65r635 tv all works great 4k hdr the works, picture looks awesome.     Xbox one x 4k flickering and losing connection


    I bought a used Xbox one x, I have a tcl 65r635 tv all works great 4k hdr the works, picture looks awesome.

    Probably played lets say maybe 40 hours everything worked great 4k hdr and now it starting to flicker and then the screen goes black and the tv says no device connected.

    I noticed that if i turn xbox to 1080p it works fine and stays connected but i have to uncheck allow 4k.

    All worked fine on 4k one day and then not the next ?

    Not the tv the tv still does 4k hdr with different devices

    Any help would be very grateful

    (Lot of stuff online about a retimer chip?)

    Not sure if that's my problem

    Well the tv worked perfect with the Xbox in 4k for about 40 hours no problems, and the tv works fine with other 4k sourcesTv also has THX certified game modeTv is brand new and has been calibrated Tv also 120 refresh rate it's not a cheap tv

    It is your tv

    Tcl is one of the worst brands of tvs you can possibly get

    Even sharp is better for the same cost

    Low bandwidth devices wont show any bad signals because its not like a highbandwidth device

    Also you might want to do a calibration

    Should be noted if you chaining devices dont high bandwidth devices dont like sharing

    Have a dedicated port and make sure your port you put it in is hdmi 2.0 at least

    Check your tv manual

    With discount brand tvs you have to watch it

    Screen Flickering - Using non 4K TV - Xbox One X

    Hey, having the same problem here. Using Xbox One X. It was working fine for a year and recently started flickering. I have bought a new 4k tv and it's even worse. I bought a new high speed HDMI cable: new set of issues - complete black screen or it flickers
    heavily. Went to test the XBOX on a 3rd tv and it flickers as well. I'd appreciate some help.

    I saw it has HDMI 2.0B thingy on this site.

    If say you connect an Xbox One X to your 4K HDTV, you should still be able to:

    1. Download the YouTube and Netflix apps, onto your Xbox One X, and still be able to watch in 4k 60fps?

    2. Use Xbox One X 4k Blu-ray player to watch 4k Blu-ray disc movies in 4k 60fps?

    3. Play games on Xbox One X, in 4k 60fps?

    .... right?
