Xbox One X 4K Bitrate

Hello all!

I was very happy to get my Xbox one X today, and have been very impressed with the performance so far. However I have a concern.

I have a Vizio 4K TV, Model M65-C1 to be exact.

Under the advanced 4K settings it says that my TV Resolution supports 4K UHD at 60Hz. That sounds great.

However under the playing games section it says that my TV setup does not support 4K 10-bit at 60Hz. But I can still upscale to 4K.

Am I getting 4K in my games or not? My TV is 4K, yet somehow still not 4K enough. I was really looking forward to seeing finally what my 4K TV could do, and it seems that it can't do much.

Streaming 4k UHD from external disk USB

Hi, I have problem with use X BOX X and i can't open video file in 4k bitrate.

I have error 0x1010103

When I open video file Quality 1080 p HD, 60kl./s or 30 kl./s is OK.

Microsoft Blocked video streaming in 4k quality from a USB external drive.

I record a movie in 4k quality and I can not watch it. Crazy situation !!!

Low machine!

I hand it over to the xbox x store and buy Apple TV.

4K Passthrough?

I saw it has HDMI 2.0B thingy on this site.

If say you connect an Xbox One X to your 4K HDTV, you should still be able to:

1. Download the YouTube and Netflix apps, onto your Xbox One X, and still be able to watch in 4k 60fps?

2. Use Xbox One X 4k Blu-ray player to watch 4k Blu-ray disc movies in 4k 60fps?

3. Play games on Xbox One X, in 4k 60fps?

.... right?

Bro, I understand your frustration, basically they are saying we need to buy the premium of 4k tvs or monitors, I literally went to bestbuy and bought a $500 Samsung monitor, thats 4k 1ms, 2.0 hdmi, to find out that basically if i dont have hdr i wont get
native 4k, Im not about to speed 700 when they didnt tell us we needed a high end hdmi port that supports 10bit or basically hdr.

I don't know if Netflix explicitly calls out whether what you're seeing is HDR, I think it might just be 4K - and as you say, finding the bitrate is the best way to know if it's actually coming through as 4K. But as the two tend to go hand-in-hand, if the
show was filmed with HDR and it's streaming in 4K according to the bitrate, it should be HDR content.

Although both the Xbox One S and the Xbox One X can both stream 4K, only the One X is capable of true 4K gaming. I would recommend the XBox One X over the XBox One S because it only one that can truly do 4K gaming! The XBox One S can upscale 1080p games
to 4K but isn’t a real 4K console, although it can play Blu-Ray in 4K. The XBox One X is the first console to truly be able to stream 4K gaming, plus it has a Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray player!

Xbox Series X will release Holiday 2020, given Xbox's track record of releasing new consoles, they've usually been around November.

It will have Blu-Ray.

With the Xbox One X, it uses checkerboarding to get 4K resolution, though it's not true 4K, it's what allows the One X to get to 4K,

With the Xbox Series X, it will use true native 4K, you may see that the Series X will look a little better at 4K than the One X at 4K.

The Xbox One can't play games at 4K, You need to have the Xbox One X and a 4K TV or a 4K Monitor to get to play games at 4K and games that show Xbox One X Enhanced on them.
