Xbox One X - 360-Games not starting, Error-Code 0x80070002

I'm having the same problem too on my Xbox One X. I've exhausted all options and no success.

Is the error code you're seeing is 0x80070002?

It happens with every other backwards-compatible game I try.

My password is not longer than 16 characters.

And last, but not least: I can't even access the Guide in the emulator, because it doesn't start. It just shows a short screenshot of the RDR-sign and then closes with the error-code...

Many, many, many other people seem to have this problem in this forum and noone knows how to fix it - it should be there since the october-update, but Microsoft doesn't care... yeah, nice.

Is this happening with any other backwards compatible games or is this the only one that you have tried?

Does it give you any other messages like disconnected from xbox live when you first start up the game?

Couple things to try.

1. Make sure your password is not longer than 16 characters the 360s including the emulators on the Ones do not like passwords longer than 16 characters. If it is change your password to something less than 16 characters.

2. Redownload your profile to the 360 emulator by following these directions.

a. Load any 360 backwards compatible

b. hit the start and select buttons (small round buttons on either side of the big xbox button on the controller) this will bring up the 360 guide on that guide there would be a choice to download profile click on that and enter in your email and
password.

Have you tried a new game that you have not downloaded the patch to play on xbox one x.

The error codes getting are 0x8082000c when trying a disc

Getting error code 0x80070002 when trying digital.

All troubleshooting steps were attempted and still getting this problem

Please fix this. I keep getting error "Sorry that didn't work for some reason. (0x80070002)" everytime I start an xbox 360 game on my brand new xbox one x. I've restarted the console and keep getting the error.
