    I have a xbox one X and it stop working its a year and half old and no longer under warranty. I'm unable to get past the restart procedure that shows four green square boxes on the tv screen. I used youtube and followed the restart instructions and
    I think its called the usb microsoft firmware update without any success. Is my game console toast? Microsoft support won't help because its 6 months out of warranty. Any thoughts?

    In Europe by law they are 2 years warranty as I understand it, I hope it solves your problem and I can return to enjoy your games again greetings.

    You're probably seeing the Startup troubleshooting screen with the options, Continue, Restart this XBOX, Offline system
    update, Turn off this XBOX.

    If you're also seeing an error message, Startup error solution may assist you.

    Take note, Offline system updates (OSU) can't be used if the console is enrolled in a Insiders preview ring.
