Xbox One x 120fps 1080p

That's not possible I'm afraid. There are no titles that the older Xbox One X can run at 120FPS. For that you'll need a Series X.

120hz can be translated to 120FPS, an xbox one s only does 60fps on some games, most are locked at 30 and res drops to keep 30 sometimes.

The s does not have enough grunt too run games a 120fps at 1080p you would be lucky to get 30 at 1080p sometimes.

series s will struggle on demanding games to keep 60fps at 1080p. the series x will struggle to keep 60fps at 4k thats for sure. the series x will be ok at 120fps at 1080 and most likely 1440.

because you can set the console to 1440p and 120hz.

but the S is very underpowered and is primarily a 1080p gaming machine, it has less power than the xbox one x and it is already showing that it is aging badly, lots of games running at subpar graphics and framerates.

most games don't even hit 120 fps.

series x even struggles to hit 120fps in some games.

All in all the Xbox Series S was made for those that are casual gamers, those that 1080p is ok, those that cannot afford the series x etc etc.
