Xbox One worth getting yet?

Best waiting till after E3 but if you want a true next gen console get a PS4

 

It's worth getting now if you want it now, but it will also be worth getting it later if you want to wait a bit.

That advice also applies to the PS4 though to be fair, it's down to what fits your needs best as to what you should get first.

I say first because you should really get both eventually and experience the best of both worlds.

 

Not sure why you would want to waste money getting both, when the majority of the games are cross platform.

 

It's called choice, and gives you access to every exclusive.

Obviously if you can't afford both, or for whatever reason don't want both, then you need to choose the one that fits your needs best.

But if you want the whole "Next-Gen" experience then get both.

 

If you want it mainly to play Elder Scrolls Online, absolutely not. That game will most likely have the smallest install base on the XB1 and your money would be best off spent on getting a PC to play it.

 

^ What he said. If you don't want to go down the PC route for ESO then go PS4, it'll likely have a bigger install base and you won't have to pay a PS+ sub to play it. However if Forza, Ryse etc are games you'd like to play also then X1 it is.

For me not so much now but in a year or so it will definitely be good to have access to both consoles looking at the line up of exclusives due in that time.

 

Yeah just to reflect on the above, there are pros and cons to each system and obviously going with either will lock you out of exclusive access to the games on the other console. It's all down to preference. What ever decision you make I am sure you will
be pleased with the outcome. Both consoles are pretty cool.

 

Xbone at the moment is about as useful as dead dogs, sure you can skin them and have other uses but the PS4 does everything better.

 

Sorry Horrid but that whole post made very little sense to me. You can't really compare an Xbox One to a dead dog that you can skin and make other uses of. Either way, each to their own I guess.

Even for people that don't really like XB1, fair enough but I think most would agree it's more useful than a dead dog lol.

Exactly Lofty. I mean if someone doesn't like the console then that's cool. Totally open for various perspectives and different opinions but to compare it to something like that just goes way over my head.

 

It doesn't go over your head it goes beneath your level of understanding. Theirs a difference. ;-)

 

Does the dead dog support 3d blu ray though??

 

But surely what Horrid says must have some validity... I mean he does have a community user level of 5!
