XBOX ONE worth buying yet?

Hi people,

Hope you are all happy with your XBOX ONE, I have not yet made the jump from my 360 yet. Last game played was Black Flag, still thought the graphics looked awesome on the 360.

I was so close to buying one yesterday and then I stopped myself before I got more proof this console is worth buying?

Price reduction of £20.00 seems a better deal, all be it a little be desperate in my eye from Microsoft.

This resolution problem is bothering me, I have a top of the range Samsung TV 1080P, and I would notice the difference, keen eye I have for tech.

I wonder if developers utilizing this extra 10% and games will end up being 1080p 60fps, PS4 owners seems to get this in their games.

I would love to own a XBOX ONE but can't see the reason to spend my hard earned cash yet, unless someone can point me in the right direction?

Hi Everyone is the xbox one worth buying? (currently have a 360) - opinions would be good.

 

Problem was mate, companies were developing for 360 and X1 at the same time. This years "Fall" games which are X1 only should (and I mean SHOULD) be a step forward. Theres loads out there already and Games for Gold is rather good on One considering there
isn't a massive back catalogue to pick from.

I bought on Day One and havn't regretted it, although I can completely understand why peeps would hold back.

Buy it mate. Its a cracker!!

All we need to get sorted now are these Gamercards on the forums.

Once you read on the internet that "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition" is running at 1080p and 60fps your "keen eye for tech" will allow you to declare the game "amazing".

Definately tons of games to play on the ONE now.

Not in my opinion. I have played some good games but none have been great!

 

Like I said in the other thread ....

Check the line up of games and if they appeal to you then go for it, if they don't then just wait but this will be different for everyone.

 

With the recent updates the console is getting there, but still nowhere near as user friendly as the 360.

Some better games are coming through now, but I think I'd wait for the big pre-xmas deals (which seem to be better than the January sales these days)

Make sure you check out the deals with Kinect. In some cases you can get a better bundle and get the sensor included for little or no extra.

As for graphics, I've got the digital version of destiny so that I can play with people on both consoles. I use an old 720p projector and even on that you can see a big improvement to the graphics. (though the game play pretty much identically on both systems)

 

I've had an Xbox 360 since 2006 and loved it, but I moved over to the the PS4 since January. I got no problems with the console at all except when I play online. PSN is boring and most of my friends are on Xbox One, but is it worth transferring over just
for that?

Yep its worth it, dont know how you finish games now without someone there to constantly revive you

 

It will be for me this Friday when Horizons is realesed. Without that i could easily hold off.
