    My son shut off his xbox one and when he turned it on later, it won't let him sign into the email which hold all his progress. This happened last year too. Then the person that helped me said that the entire data would have been lost in 24 hours. What can
    I do?

    Microsoft account password vs. Xbox Live password?

    I can use my Microsoft account email and password to log in here, but not on my Xbox 360 to log into my Xbox Live account. Are they two separate emails and passwords? I set up my lLive account on my 360 years ago when I was staying somewhere with Internet
    access since I didn't have it in the rural area I live in. Now I finally have Internet and have been trying to access my Live account and it says my email or password don't work. I did follow the steps to change my password since I had forgotten it. That's
    how I logged in here. But it won't let me log into Xbox Live.

    Two xbox live accounts

    I had it on my email, the one I use for my windows live. But it still won't let me log in even though I type in the password I have for that Microsoft account. Is it really lost?

    Delete the account, then use your current email and password to recover it. Then , try changing the password (If that doesnt work , email swapping won't)

    If your Microsoft Account's password is changed, no matter how many emails or what email you've used to log in, it will change the password for Xbox, Office, and Skype account passwords. The Microsoft Account is a type of universal login for all Microsoft
    services.

    Well, you could log into the profiles on your Xbox, combing through them one by one and viewing their Microsoft Account email in Settings --> Account --> Account Security, then using those emails with their respective Microsoft Account passwords, log into
    xbox.com/account and click the link to cancel your auto-payments. And if that doesn't work, you can contact Xbox Customer Support for assistance.
