    Xbox one wont update games


    Ever since yesterday my Xbox has been unable to update any games. It will start then say installation stopped after 5 seconds or so. I have tried all the usual troubleshooting such as, power cycling, resetting router and so on. Any help would be great
    as I am unable to play anything.

    Game updates not downloading while I'm not home.

    Which updates? Console updates? or Game updates? if its game updates they wont update until you choose to play it. Console updates and things you buy online are the only things the xbox one auto downloads, from what i understand.

    Sorry but I didn't see where you said that you reset the modem/router. You just mentioned that you did everything offline.

    What country are you in? Many people living here in Australia have been having this problem for weeks now, and nobody from Xbox wants to acknowledge it.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

    During this time unplug your modem/router for 10 seconds to let it reset.

    Hopefully this will help.
