    Xbox One won't update correctly


    My Xbox One won't update correctly. It stops at 74% and says that the update was complete. After that it turns off and the power supply turns back on, but the console remains off. So then I plug it out and turned it back on, but then said that I still had
    to update it, so I did and it did the same thing. I thought that resetting it would help, but that made it even worse. I tried updating it offline, but that didn't work either. Now I can't even get past the Day One update or do anything on it. Should I just
    give up and get a new Xbox One?

    One S will not stay in Instant On power mode

    I'm having he same issue as well. Mine also won't auto download system or game updates. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I have checked my settings numerous times and all are set correctly

    Sorry to hear about the issue with the Xbox One console not starting up properly. We do have a guide for this though that can help with either Blank Screens or Error Codes. Give it a shot and see if it helps!

    Troubleshoot Xbox One startup errors

    In step 1, select I AM EXPERIENCING A STARTUP ISSUE and then BLACK SCREEN in step 2.

    Well no we can't help with self repair

    The above steps won't help aa the IA didn't read your post correctly

    There is a reason why it's failing

    Xbox one os are all the same you update to the latest one that's not the issue

    The issue is the HDD

    You mist take it to BestBuy or do a repair order

    More info:

    - I replayed one game in the Star Club

    The star count in the app was updated correctly. The one in the xBox account was not updated (I thought it's fair enough as the level should already be included in the 301 stars)

    - I played a brand new Star Club game (one I haven't played before)

    The star count in the app was updated correctly. The one in the xBox account wasn't even though I expected it to be updated.

    I beleive this issue is being looked at in the next update that is due, as i know they are working through a lot of the bugs with the achievments.

    Does your score here on xbox.com show correctly? It won't show the games played correctly, however your gamerscore 'should' be correct
